- Q: Can I lease Perfect Fry equipment?
- A: Yes. Most of our distributors can offer you leasing programs.
- Q: Can I cook products other than french fries?
- A: Yes, and your local food distributor will be pleased to provide you with
a wide variety of frozen breaded products.
- Q: Can I cook fresh products?
- A: Yes, but results are much better with frozen products. Fresh products have
more water content , which adversely affects the oil, the filtration system and
the cooking speed.
- Q: How many orders can be cooked at one time?
- A: 6 small (4 oz. per serving) or 4 large servings (6 oz. per serving) can
be cooked in one cook cycle.
- Q: I'm cooking 7 products. Can I preset all of them?
- A: Yes, the Perfect Fry has up to 9 presets and is programmable individually
with names and times.
- Q: Does the Perfect Fry use oil?
- A: Yes, we recommend a high quality, low cholesterol vegetable oil.
- Q: What specific kinds of oil do you recommend?
- A: Soybean or canola deep fryer oils are preferred. Top quality oil increases
the life of the air filter and reduces taste transfer, providing your customers
with superior tasting products that will help you build customer loyalty and referral
traffic.
- Q: How often should I change the oil?
- A: an average of once a week, more often during heavy use. Please see the
Owners Manual for detailed suggestions..
- Q: Should I filter the oil every day?
- A: You can, but it's not necessary.
- Q: How often should the air filter cartridge be replaced?
- A: Once every 3 months is recommended, provided top quality oils and frozen
products are used; more frequently when lesser quality oils and frozen products
have been used. Heavy use may require more frequent replacement.
- Q: Does the outside of the Perfect Fry get hot?
- A: No. The exterior will become slightly warm to the touch.
- Q: Do the Perfect Fry models require 3-phase power?
- A: No, only single-phase power is needed..
- Q: Is the fire suppression system approved in my area?
- A: Yes, we have met or exceeded all the requirements set out by NFPA 96.
- Q: Does the Perfect Fry retain its value after years of use?
- A: Yes it does. With care and maintenance according to manufacturer's recommendations,
the Perfect Fry will hold its value, give you many years of trouble-free service,
and help you build a loyal customer base.
