Dear Mike:

As you are well aware, Kwik Trip began working with the Perfect Fry ventless fryer systems just over 18 months ago. I wanted to let you know about the success we have encountered with those units. Currently we have 15 installed in our in-store food service operations in three different states. Over the past 18 months we have had only two repair matters, of which both were very minor. Your team's response to our repairs has been outstanding.

The things our team comments about these units compared to other pieces of similar equipment we are using are numerous.

    1. Smaller footprint than our older units
    2. Easy to clean and maintain
    3. Fast oil temperature recovery during peak periods
    4. Uses less oil than our older comparable units
    5. No grease smell in our stores
    6. Easy and safe to operate
    7. Can be added into a current food program in a small preparation area

These are just comments back from our in-store team members. From a corporate side we are pleased with the performance of the units as well as what they have contributed to our overall in-store food service sales. At the time we began installing our franchise pizza operations last year we wanted to compliment the program with a fried food offering. Your Perfect Fry units fit very well into the tight space we had to work with in our locations. On average, over 18% of our total food service sales come from the Perfect Fry units. This is very encouraging especially with our 50-65% margins on the food items this unit produces. We already have the labor in the food service, so very little additional expense in labor is incurred with these units. In many ways, this is a very profitable area of our store for the space and labor it consumes. We feel that this offering ties in great with our overall marketing plan and it assures added sales and profits we need in our operations.

Overall, we are very pleased with the results in performance and operation of the units. But more so we are happy with the return they are providing to our bottom line. in fact we have one food service location with sales over 30% from the fryer. This is a huge success for us.
